  • This is a joke, right?

If your mom had offered 62 glue guns, would you have stopped at 62?

  • Are you really serious? Please, no!

  • Hey!!Whoa!!! I just found you guys you can't go away now. The Target bit is what went straight to my heart. Anyone who goes to that much trouble to talk about Target is quick to become a favorite of mine. Great cast you two!

  • Bullshit.
I haven't heard the episode yet, and now I see these comments and I don't even want to listen.
    Bull-shit.
Sad and angry together, in Canada or the US, it's crushing news, and I can't imagine not hearing you guys once a week.
    All my love, you dinks.

  • no way!! what will i listen to at the gym? ok it's not all about me but your loyal listeners will be left hanging and your wit, humour (with a U) sarcasm, and established segments surely can't just remain in cyberspace for ever more limited to 40 (or was it 41??) episodes.
Come back soon before protests on both sides of the border turn violent!

  • Like everyone else here, I will really miss the two of you. I won't try to talk you out of quitting the show, but I'm sure lots of us would be happy to have you back if you ever change your minds.

  • Hey Guys,

It has been a pleasure while it lasted. Hearing from another Ameri-Canadian couple was a blast. Thank you for all the effort over the last 40 shows!

  • I thought you were kidding, for literally like 10 minutes into it... I'm sad and upset and I don't honestly know what to say. You guys are an inspiration. You're show was never boring, I loved it all the time. Maybe it's weird but you guys were always the ones that meant the most to me. You were always professional (in your unique ways) and honest and truly friendly. I turned my dad onto your show; and now he likes you guys way better than me... I'm just really upset that you're going :(

Karen, you were the first one, I mean the first real listener I think I ever really had. Literally the day I registered onto Podcast Pickle you messaged me. I don't think you can know how much that meant to me. Thank you guys so much for being so special. You really matter a lot to me, and I know to a lot of other people too. I'll really miss you. Thanks.

  • It's been 4 hours since I last heard my last Z&Z podcast. I miss 'em already. I even sent back my standard Australian Apple keyboard with a "Zed" key and ordered a US one with a "Zee" key.

BTW - I'm on the lookout for a couple of glue-guns.

  • I refuse to listen to the last episode now that I know what is happening and that you two are quiting. . . well . . . okay . . . I'll listen. But I refuse to enjoy it. No. Never. Uh-uh.

    sigh.

    I'm speechless.

  • Well. I am sad. Very very sad. Now I have to find some new podcasting, parents who listen to punk rock....hmmmm....I believe the search may be difficult.
So does this mean Heather and I have to start doing Ameri-Canadian differences? Nevermind, I wouldn't feel comfortable. It would be like wearing someone else's underwear...and that just won't cut it.

This came as a big shock, I was listening in the airport in Nashville. Your news just came after my flight was delayed a couple of hours. I had even planning to record an intro from a Target in Tennessee.

Seriously though, it's been fun kids. We will miss you BIG time!

    Keep in touch eh.

  • Just goes to show you. You podcast listeners need to remember to leave comments frequently. Podcasters don't feel the love, unless they get your feedback.

So post a comment and/or leave an audio message on your favourite shows today.

Let those podcasters know you love them.

Zee and Zed will be missed HUGE!

  • This sucks. Totally unexpected. I was glad to hear that Ross will be involved in another podcast -- how about Karen? Won't you miss it? You can be a guest on Geek.Farm.Life any time you want! I'll really miss your show -- I'm not removing you from my iTunes subscriptions!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 6:23 AM

  • GO? You can't go! All the plants are gonna die!!

Seriously, please come back!!! I'll do better intros, I promise!!!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 9:07 PM

  • I hold myself responsible for not sending you the content! I will dearly miss you guys. Thanks for all the laughs and the insightful human analysis. Blessings.

By Blogger Christine, at 11:20 AM

  • Sorry guys, but I am simply choosing to believe you're taking the rest of the summer off, and will be back in the fall. I'll be patient, and if you want to wait till after Labour Day (note correct Canadian spelling), that's fine. But you do have to come back! The podcast world truly needs you two, so just enjoy the break, and we'll all be ready when you are. Soon though eh?

By Blogger Scarborough Dude, at 6:48 PM

  • I'm sorry to hear you're ending the show, guys. Well I hope people see this in a positive light, and enjoy the 40 that you put out there, rather than mourn the next 40 or 400. Ross, maybe you can fill in for Gary sometimes on CC... Do you know how to sing about your own farts?

Zee and Zed are a part of podcasting history, and that's something cool.

    Cheers.

By Blogger Dave, at 5:57 PM

  • To all the Z&Z fans, I'm sorry. The end of the show is obviously my fault. I was asked to appear on their show, but instead, I played dead or alive on The Big Show. Truly, Karen and Ross could not take the rejection they felt after my betrayal.

    I accept full responsibilty.

  • Later! Likewise, I dig your style!
